Solution

Invest more sustainably by analyzing annual reports

Hemisphere has partnered with Impactalytics to develop an AI model that can analyze thousands of annual reports and news articles to index all of a company’s SDG claims. Hemisphere has chosen to use a language model that is trained to understand whole sentences in addition to words. Ultimately, the solution was able to label the correct impact claims for the 17 SDGs and 169 associated goals in 85% of the cases. The solution works on any annual report in any language.

Hemisphere has demonstrated that it is possible to automatically extract detailed SDG claims from hundreds of unstructured annual reports. This is an important step for us to scale up to all annual reports.
